Boulder Depression

Depression is not uncommon or unnatural; everybody feels sad at times. And for most healthy individuals sadness is the other side of the happiness coin. Life means loss, and loss most often results in sadness. Think about the loss of a loved one. It would be unhealthy not to be sad about that.

When sadness turns chronic, when it continues for weeks and months, then we know that we have a problem. Such never ending sadness is now a depression. When depression gets in the way of having a normal life, then you have a medical condition and you will need support, therapy, and sometimes even medication.
